I was privileged to participate in the IB Asia Pacific workshop on "Making the PYP Happen: Implementing Student Agency" at BINUS School Simprug.
This workshop was an incredible journey into the heart of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), and it was hosted right here in the dynamic city of Jakarta, Indonesia.
Here are some highlights from the workshop :
1. Student Agency: The workshop's core focus was implementing student agency. This means empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey, make choices, and become more responsible for their education.
2. Global Perspectives: I had the opportunity to connect with educators and school leaders from all over the Asia Pacific region. It was amazing to see how the PYP is embraced and adapted in diverse cultural contexts.

here are my takeaways:
From this workshop, I'm inspired to continue promoting student agency and creating a dynamic, student-centered learning environment at my school. It's a game-changer in education, and I can't wait to see the positive impact it has on our students.
